In nearly two decades of television and documentary filmmaking, Nicole has developed, written, produced or supervised hundreds of hours of programming for History®, A&E, Discovery Networks and National Geographic. Her many awards include three Emmy nominations, the first for Inside 9/11 (2005), which still ranks nearly a decade later among National Geographic Channel’s most-watched specials.
In 2008, Nicole produced 102 Minutes That Changed America for Siskel/Jacobs Productions and History®. That film’s numerous awards included three Primetime Emmys for Outstanding Non Fiction Special, Sound Edit and Sound Design, and also a nomination for Picture Edit. To date, 102 Minutes has been broadcast in 150 countries and more than 250 million households, making it History’s most-watched program, ever. As co-founder of the boutique prod co New Animal Productions, Nicole produced several award-winning and critically acclaimed specials, among them JFK: 3 Shots That Changed America, (History 2009), Trek Nation (Science, 2011), Third Reich: The Rise and Fall (History, 2010), 9/11 The Days After, (History, 2011) and Stories From the Road to Freedom (History, 2013).
In 2013 Nicole launched Every Hill Films. Every Hill’s first special, OJ: Trial of the Century was produced exclusively for Investigation Discovery’s ID FILMS strand and premiered June 12, 2014 to critical acclaim. The company’s growing body of work includes the six-hour special EAT: The Story of Food with National Geographic Television for National Geographic Channel, and another six-hour miniseries special for H2 premiering in 2015.

Allison Ferner, is the Vice President of Production at Every Hill Films. Over the past ten years she has worked in both creative and production management capacities on all phases of production for award-winning projects such as JFK: 3 Shots That Changed America, (History 2009), Trek Nation (Science, 2011), Third Reich: The Rise and Fall (History, 2010), 9/11 The Days After, (History, 2011) and Stories From the Road to Freedom (History, 2013). Her credits include Producer, Development Executive, Line Producer, and Production Manager, and her skills include everything from budgeting and schedule to archive research and post producing.
In 2013, she produced OJ: Trial of the century exclusively for Investigation Discovery’s ID FILMS strand. That film premiered June 12, 2014 to critical acclaim. She is currently Show Runner on an as-yet-unnamed 6-hour miniseries scheduled to premiere April 2015 on H2.
